Hey everyone! We are excited to announce significant updates to our 3D printing process, all thanks to your invaluable feedback. As part of our commitment to delivering top-quality models that meet your expectations, we conducted a comprehensive survey to understand the needs and preferences of our customers.
This is how you rated quality of our Supports:

New Printers and Resins on the Way
Based on survey results, we identified that our current printers and resins differ from what you typically use. Therefore, we decided to order popular printers and resins to start making supports that would better meet the expectations of the community. Here’s what’s coming:
New Printers:
ELEGOO SATURN 3 ULTRA
Anycubic Photon Mono M5s
CREALITY 3D HALOT-ONE PLUS
Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S
New Resins:
We can’t wait to get these new materials into our production line and share the results with you. Stay tuned for updates as we integrate these new machines and resins into our workflow and share our experiences with you.
Printing Settings
To further improve print quality, we are planning to have fine-tuned our printing settings. Our experiments focused on minimizing common issues like support craters and model deformation.
Here are the settings we currently use with printers Elegoo Mars 3 and Anycubic Standard resin:
Exposure Time:
0.03 mm layer: 2.5 seconds
0.05 mm layer: 3.5 seconds
Support Thickness:
Basic: Body 0.65 mm, Contact Point 0.37 mm, Separation Point 0.31 mm
Small: Body 0.65 mm, Contact Point 0.22 mm, Separation Point 0.21 mm
As we start testing other printers and resins we will share new settings with you!
Improved Support Structures for Better Print Quality
We also introduced wide mono supports for large flat models. Previously, the excessive number of supports made removal challenging and often damaged the surface. With mono supports, this issue has been significantly reduced, resulting in near-perfect surface quality with minimal post-processing. We are currently developing mono supports for round bases and making progress in this area. Additionally, we plan to refine raft settings to enhance their efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
You can see the regular supports on the left side and the mono support on the right side.
Embracing Lychee Slicer
Our survey revealed that approximately half of our customers use the Lychee slicer. To better meet our clients' needs, we have studied and started integrating Lychee into our workflow. While we have traditionally used Chitubox, the new features in Chitubox 2.0 have been beneficial. However, Lychee offers some unique functionalities that Chitubox lacks.
Our 3D artists are currently testing the Lychee slicer, and we’ll share our findings with you soon. We hope these new tools will further enhance our printing process.
We Value Your Feedback
Thank you for your continued support and feedback. These improvements are a testament to our commitment to providing you with the best possible 3D printing experience. We look forward to your feedback on these enhancements and to continuing to serve your creative needs.
In our next articles, we will tell you about how we work with your feedback and make decisions about changing models. What specific issues or questions do you have about 3D printing? Let us know so we can address the topics that matter most to our community. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and improve our processes!
